Verbatim Interpreting LLC is a legal interpreting company based in New York, working since 1998. We do three things: legal interpreting, investigative interpreting, and asylum interviews — across NYC, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut.
We have been in those rooms
We have interpreted depositions and examinations under oath in law offices across the five boroughs and Long Island, and we have sat with applicants at the asylum offices in Bethpage, Long Island City and Newark. We know how each one runs — where to enter, how long the wait is, how the officer works, and what the USCIS telephone monitor sounds like on the line. A deposition and an asylum interview are not ordinary conversations: what is said goes on the record, and the way it is interpreted can change how the case is understood.

We confirm your interpreter’s name in writing before the date. We do not send whoever is free — we send someone who has already worked this kind of appointment. Our interpreters are judged on real experience in legal settings, not on credentials on paper.
